About LUMIGAN: Glaucoma Medication

What could be more important than preserving your vision? By using LUMIGAN ophthalmic solution to reduce your intraocular pressure (IOP) throughout the day, every day, you are doing something that may help save your sight.

Glaucoma is a chronic disease that often has no symptoms. It typically worsens slowly over time and can lead to significant damage to the optic nerve and irreversible vision loss. Even though glaucoma cannot be cured, clinical studies funded by the National Eye Institute have proven that lowering IOP can reduce your risk for visual field loss.

Lowering elevated IOP is your best weapon against glaucoma damage, and LUMIGAN can reduce IOP to help preserve your vision.

Remember, LUMIGAN ophthalmic solution can only work if you use it every day. Taking LUMIGAN once daily and following your eye doctor's instructions are your best defense against vision loss!

If you've been diagnosed with glaucoma or with ocular hypertension (elevated IOP), it's important to stay with LUMIGAN therapy even if you feel fine or experience temporary eye redness (hyperemia). Compliance with your medication may make the difference between saving your sight and losing some or all of your vision.

For helpful tips on taking LUMIGAN ophthalmic solution, see the Hints section as well as Taking . If you have specific questions, contact your eye doctor. He or she can help address any concerns you may have about your treatment.
